Since the story is written in first person, you could say Jason Redloh is the author — that’s him pictured above at 35. 

In reality, the author writes under the pen name J. H. Older, sharing enough to connect with readers while letting the work speak for itself.  

Having previously written in a more formal style, J. H. Older embraced fiction as a new and exciting creative challenge. Their debut novel grew from a love of storytelling and a curiosity about human experience, exploring fresh ways to tell a story.  

They hope their journey inspires others to write creatively, even if they’ve never tried before. For J. H. Older, writing fiction is as much a journey of self-discovery as it is storytelling — blending imagination, observation, and life experience on the page.
